If you don't know yet what is Meerkat, Meerkat is a platform (app) to tweet live video.
Suppose you are on a night festival and you find that the show is amazing and fun and want your friends/brothers/sisters to see it in real time, you can use Meerkat to record and share the link to your Twitter follower, so that they can watch your stream in real time.

Well that is Meerkat for iOS. The unofficial Android app, released by the few engineers who created Meerkat for iOS platform, however at this point of time can only be used to 'watch' whatever everybody on Twitter shares and not 'record' and provide 'stream' just like in iOS platform. Well at least for now - while waiting for the official app to comes out, you can enjoy what everybody is tweeting the live video.

This app is still in early stages, current version 0.1.1 requires Android 4.1 (JellyBean) and up.
